Rhumerie de Chamarel
Surrounded by sugar cane and pineapple plantations, the Chamarel distillery is located in the southwest of Mauritius. It opens its doors during guided tours, where you can taste agricultural rums, but also eat at L’Alchimiste. On the program of this unique experience: you will learn everything about rum design, enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape from the distillery, and discover the backstage of this authentic place. The visit is in French and English and lasts about 40 minutes.
Litchquor Tasting Lounge
At the beginning of 2018, Litchquor has opened a Tasting Lounge in Endemika Business Park in Petit Raffray. The stone building with large bay windows is located not far from an old mill, surrounded by trees and vegetation. Inside, a space to discover the rums of the “Gold of Mauritius” and “Rom Club” ranges, both of which have won international awards.
